The Zebra ZD510-HC is a compact desktop wristband printer specially developed for reliable patient identification in healthcare facilities and guest identification in hospitality. This direct thermal printer uses preloaded wristband cartridges with automatic calibration, preventing media waste and eliminating hand contact during loading or removal. With 300 dpi resolution (12 dots/mm) and print speeds up to 51 mm/s for healthcare wristbands and 102 mm/s for hospitality variants, the ZD510-HC produces sharp barcodes, text and graphics on wristbands up to 30 mm wide.
The printer integrates via Link-OS with Print DNA for easy management, monitoring and cloud connectivity, with standard USB 2.0, USB Host, Bluetooth Low Energy and Ethernet; optional Wi-Fi. The robust, impact-resistant housing is disinfectant- and UV-resistant, with tool-less maintenance and a medical power supply compliant with IEC 60601-1, ideal for hospitals where hygiene is crucial.
