The Sato CG4 series is a versatile 4-inch desktop printer for direct thermal and thermal transfer printing, suitable for retail, office, healthcare, logistics, and manufacturing. Available as CG408 (203 dpi) and CG412 (305 dpi), the series offers print speeds up to 152 mm/s at 203 dpi and a print width up to 107 mm for sharp barcodes, graphics, and text. The real-time clock adds date/time stamps to labels.
With a user-friendly Drop-Load-Go media path and safety top cover latch, maintenance is simple, while the 4MB Flash and 8MB RAM support multiple emulations such as SZPL and SEPL. Standard interfaces are USB with RS232C, LAN or parallel; optional keypad enables standalone use. The printer processes roll- and fanfold media up to 128 mm diameter, including linerless labels and synthetic materials, suitable for wristbands, shipping labels, and specimen labels.
