The Zebra RS5000 and RS5000X are corded wearable ring scanners from Codipack, worn on the index finger for handsfree scanning in warehouses, production, and cold chain. They solve the problem of slow manual scans through fast, accurate reading of 1D, 2D, PDF417, DataMatrix, QR codes and more, even damaged or in direct sunlight up to 107,639 lux.
These scanners connect via cable to Zebra wearable computers like WT6000, with SE4770 imager for split-second scans, 360° roll, ±60° pitch/skew, and field of view 48° horizontal/30° vertical. Ambidextrous swivel trigger switches between left/right, with standard or freezer mount for thick gloves and better ergonomics. Applications include order picking, inventory control, and logistics, with IP65/very robust construction for -30°C to 50°C, dust/water resistant, and high vibration resistance. Compatible with DataWedge software for data capture and EMM/MDM via Zebra Mx/OEMConfig.
