Product information
The Leibinger JET2neo EP is a Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) printer specially developed for contactless coding of eggs and egg cartons in egg sorting machines. It solves the problem of accurate, hygienic marking on fragile eggshells and packaging using certified food-safe inks (red, blue, green) that provide high contrast on white and brown eggs. Prints up to 3 lines with batch numbers, MHD (minimum shelf life date), time, counters, and barcodes with font heights of 1.2-12 mm and print speeds synchronized with sorting machines.
The compact elbow printhead (190 mm short, 90° umbilical) fits perfectly in tight spaces and Sealtronic technology ensures automatic nozzle sealing without compressed air or maintenance. Simple integration via RS232, encoder, and I/O with automatic job creation from sorting machine control.
