The REA JET DOD 2.0 is a large character inkjet printer with drop-on-demand technology that applies large, readable markings on absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces such as paper, cardboard, metal, glass, wood, plastic, and more. It solves the problem of reliable coding and marking in rugged industrial environments with dust, moisture, vibrations, and temperature fluctuations, with printheads that offer individually controllable nozzles for texts, variable data, codes, and logos up to 140 mm high per printhead and speeds up to 600 m/min.
Applications include sack marking of bulk goods, pipes, shrink hoods, concrete pipes, and lubricant application without mist or aerosol. The modular design with cascadeable printheads (7, 16, or 32 nozzles) and REA JET TITAN Platform ensures easy integration via Ethernet, RS232/422, USB, and digital I/O, with Industry 4.0-ready interfaces for higher-level systems. Features such as Plug & Print, Purge & Clean, and Dot Size Control minimize downtime and consumption.
