The Zebra ZD220 is a compact, affordable 4-inch desktop label printer suitable for small businesses and offices printing 500-1000 labels daily. This printer supports both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing with 203 dpi resolution and a maximum speed of 102 mm/s (4 ips), ideal for shipping labels, barcodes, receipts, and wristbands. With a print width up to 104 mm and media from 25-112 mm wide, the ZD220 fits in tight spaces and loads easily via OpenACCESS design.
The ZD220 uses Link-OS Basic with ZPL II and EPL2 programming languages for simple integration and ZebraDesigner Essentials for label design. Standard USB 2.0; optional peeler for tear-free dispensing and ENERGY STAR certification for low energy use. The dual-wall construction ensures durability in office, retail, and light production environments.
