The Sato WS2 Series from Codipack is a compact 2-inch direct thermal printer designed for hygienic printing tasks such as patient ID wristbands and labels in hospitals and healthcare facilities. It eliminates issues like handwritten labels and bacterial risks through its disinfectant-ready, antimicrobial housing that withstands common cleaning agents, while producing precise barcodes and text without ink or consumables.
This printer supports healthcare applications with continuous, tear-off, cutter, and peeler modes, featuring adjustable sensors for media widths from 12-60 mm. It integrates seamlessly via USB host/device and Ethernet (optional WLAN), with web-based configuration and Cerner validation for smooth hospital IT system compatibility.
