Product information
The Sato CG2 series is a compact 2-inch desktop printer designed for printing narrow labels and wristbands in sectors like healthcare, retail, logistics, production, and office environments. Available in direct thermal and thermal transfer versions, with 203 dpi (CG208) or 305 dpi (CG212) resolution, it produces both temporary labels and durable, wear-resistant ones. With a max print speed of 100 mm/s and print width of about 56 mm, the CG2 series delivers sharp barcodes, small 2D codes, and even patient photos on wristbands.
The antimicrobial casing is developed for clinical and processing environments, making it ideal for wristbands and specimen labels in hospitals and labs. The “Drop-Load-Go” media path simplifies label and ribbon changes, while the optional keypad with display enables standalone printing without a PC. Standard USB with RS-232 or LAN, plus optional WLAN module, ensures flexible network integration.
