The Evolis Zenius 2 is a compact single-sided card printer offered by Codipack for printing identification cards, membership passes, access passes, and visitor badges in small to medium runs. With dye-sublimation and thermal transfer direct-to-card technology, the printer delivers edge-to-edge prints at 300 x 600 dpi in color or 300 x 1200 dpi monochrome, suitable for PVC cards from 10-30 mil. Automatic 50-card input combines with manual feed for flexible series or individual production.
The printer supports various monochrome ribbons such as black, red, gold, and silver, plus full-color options up to 180 cards per hour. Optional encoders for magnetic stripe (LoCo/HiCo), contact, and contactless RFID (MIFARE, DESFire) enhance versatility. USB 2.0 connectivity (Ethernet on Expert version) and compatibility with Windows and Mac via Evolis Premium Suite and ID-ALL software ensure easy integration. Security features such as UV printing and double overlay are available on Expert models.
