The Zebra DS55 series are compact fixed-mount 2D barcode scanners from Codipack, ideal for self-service kiosks, retail, labs, and transport. They solve the problem of failed scans on damaged, poorly printed, or quickly presented 1D/2D barcodes through a megapixel sensor (1280×800 pixels) with PRZM Intelligent Imaging for first-time scans, even at low print contrast from 15%.
These scanners support applications such as self-scanning at checkout, lab specimen processing, and baggage check-in, with omni-directional field (48° H x 30° V), skew/pitch ±60°, and roll 360°. Compatible with USB and RS232 interfaces, trigger and presentation mode for hands-free use. Swipe speed up to 254 cm/s (13 mil UPC) and ambient light up to 107,600 lux make them suitable for dynamic environments. Managed via 123Scan, Scanner SDK, and SMS for configuration, firmware updates, and asset tracking.
