The ALtech ALstep T is a compact and cost-effective printing and labelling system for self-adhesive labels, equipped with an integrated thermal printer for real-time printing and direct label application. Thanks to its robust mechanical construction and reliable electronic control, the ALstep T delivers precise and consistent printing and labelling quality, even in limited installation spaces and demanding industrial environments.
The ALstep T is ideally suited for low to medium-speed production lines requiring the printing of variable data such as batch numbers, expiry dates, serial numbers, barcodes and QR codes directly onto the label. With on-demand label printing, pre-printed labels are no longer required, product changeovers are faster, and label stock and waste are reduced.
The system offers extensive electronic adjustment options, including dispensing speed, pre-dispense and label delay, allowing easy adaptation to different products and packaging lines. The integrated thermal printer supports both Direct Thermal and Thermal Transfer printing technologies, depending on the application and the required durability of the print.
As standard, the ALstep T includes functions such as Missing Label Recovery, end-of-roll alarm and web break detection, improving operational reliability and reducing production losses. The printing and labelling system can also be expanded with various integration options, such as an encoder for automatic speed synchronisation, a sensor for transparent labels and different tamp and blow-on application modules, enabling flexible integration into virtually any packaging line.
