The Leibinger V-check is an advanced vision system for quality control of inkjet codings, consisting of a high-performance image sensor and removable 3.5″ touchscreen display. It solves the problem of undetected print errors in fast production lines through 100% inspection of selected elements like texts, expiration dates, batch numbers, and logos, with automatic comparison against reference images. The image sensor (IP67) mounts directly on the printhead of Leibinger JET2neo or JET3up printers and inspects a 30×22 mm area at 30 frames/second.
Upon error detection, V-check immediately sends signals to the printer for line intervention such as product rejection, alarm, or production stop. The flexible touchscreen (IP20) docks on the printer but can be used hand-held, with simple setup without extra computer thanks to included software licenses and cabling.
