Companies are switching more and more to sustainable energy. Codipack Group was one of them this week. With this, Codipack can generate about 65% of its own electricity. In the longer term, this investment means a considerable cost saving. In the short term, a direct impact on the environment, a theme that appears almost daily in the news. And concerns us all.

This investment is not only good for the environment, it is also a big saving on the electricity bill. Codipack Group will mainly use the produced electricity itself and a small part will be put back on the network.

Walter Imberechts, manager of Codipack Group: ‘By installing these solar panels, Codipack is reducing its CO2 emissions by as much as 1,850 trees. This corresponds to no less than 25 hectares of forest. In this way, Codipack Group is also doing its bit for a healthier and better environment’.
