Print & apply in dairy and AGF

In the dairy industry and AGF (fruit and vegetables) the identification of trays is a common application. Here, use is often made of print & apply systems whereby labels are applied automatically. The application can be done in different ways by top and/or side labelling. The labels are applied to cardboard packaging or plastic-sealed products. The choice of label material is again an important factor in this production process. A correct tray label must be printed and applied at all times.

In some applications, this is also scanned directly for verification. Also throughout the process towards the retailers, the label must retain its properties to provide a correct identification.
