The Honeywell PC42 and PC43 are compact 4-inch desktop label printers for direct thermal (PC42d/PC43d) and thermal transfer (PC42t/PC43t) printing, ideal for small businesses, retail, shipping, and healthcare with daily volumes up to 1000 labels. Both offer 203 dpi resolution with print speeds up to 152 mm/s (6 ips), but the PC42 is a simple entry-level model with basic USB connectivity and minimal controls, while the PC43 provides more functionality with LCD display or icons, front/rear USB ports, real-time clock, and expandable connectivity via Ethernet/Wi-Fi modules.
The PC43 supports “smart printing” without PC thanks to standalone functionality and accessories like cutter, label taken module, and battery base for mobile use. Both printers are easy to install with Honeywell Print Set-up and support Intermec, Datamax, and ZPL II emulations for broad software compatibility.
