The Evolis Avansia is a premium retransfer card printer offered by Codipack for printing high-quality, durable ID cards in applications such as corporate IDs, access passes, student cards, loyalty cards, and national IDs. The retransfer technology prints first on a film which is then transferred to the card under heat, ensuring razor-sharp 600 dpi prints without white edges, even on uneven surfaces such as contactless cards. This solves issues like imperfect edges and low resolution in direct-to-card printing, with support for fluorescent UV ink for extra security.
With standard double-sided print capacity and high speeds, the Avansia is ideal for medium to large volumes, from less than 500 to more than 50,000 cards per year. The printer accepts various materials such as PVC, PET, polycarbonate, and ABS, with optional encoders for magnetic stripes, contact and contactless chips. Connectivity via USB and Ethernet, plus compatibility with Windows and Mac OS via drivers and cardPresso XXS software, ensures seamless integration into workflows.
