Zebra RFD40 Sled
The RFD40 Sled is designed to help you work more efficiently than ever before. Not only will you easily reduce your cycle counting time thanks to its 1300 tag-reads per second. You’ll also be able to take inventory faster or locate critical goods or patients using the ultra-precise item finder and three-function trigger.
The three-function trigger gives employees quick access to RFID reading, barcode scanning and a programmable third function of their choice.
Thanks to new eConnex™ technology that enables ‘snap-and-go pairing‘, the Sled supports both Zebra’s current mobile computers (TC21 and TC52x series) and the latest mobile computers coming to market, including variants with WWAN support.
A change of adapters is also easily done. It requires no tools and can easily be done by a staff member.
And don’t worry if you cannot connect to a host. Thanks to the batch mode, a real-time connection to a backend system is not necessary. The RFD40 collects up to 40 000 RFID scans. This data can then be easily uploaded to the host device through synchronisation.
The RFD40 is also very flexible when it comes to charging. With 2 different charging ports, each charging station can charge the RFD40 Sled and the mobile computer separately as well as both devices together as long as they are attached to each other.
