The Allen S-compact is an industrial inline hotfoil coder that prints fixed or limited variable information, such as production data, batch codes and simple texts, directly onto packaging with heated foil. The printer uses a heated stamp and color foil, creating sharp, high-contrast prints that are very wear-resistant and suitable for demanding environments. With a maximum print area of about 50 x 30 mm, the S-compact is excellent for compact coding on flexible packaging, labels and cardboard boxes.
Thanks to the high speed of up to about 800 prints per minute and an adjustable cycle time of about 0.02 to 1.0 second, the coder can be used without problems on fast-running packaging lines in the food, cosmetics and pharma sectors. The temperature of the heated foil is adjustable between about 70 and 210 °C, so the marking can be precisely matched to the substrate used.
