The LC2 prints high-definition
characters up to 48mm high using an all-metal, ruggedly designed solid-state
printhead that carries an unmatched 3-year warranty.
The LC2 uses two specially
formulated non-hazardous inks to meet a wide range of coding requirements:

LC2 Coder™ ink
is designed to spread along the fibres of paper, kraft and recycled board,
giving the maximum surface coverage for the minimum ink usage. Ideal for
outer-case coding with solid character sizes up to 48mm.
LC2 ColourFast™
ink is formulated to provide sharp, high contrast, colourfast and waterfast
solid characters from 3mm to 25mm and up to 48mm high open characters. Ideal for
coding timber, building products or for producing small, high quality multi-line
printing on trays and cases.
Can be used with either the
IP9000 or IP9000 Graphics Controllers,
providing 1 to 4 lines of text per head, bitmaps, logos, counters and time and
date codes. The Controllers support one or two print-heads, allowing coding on
two sides of a product, or up to 8 lines of text on a single side.
